| Personalizing Your Lost Luggage Product If you are having a Logo etched or printed, we need you to supply us with both a high resolution (or vector) file of the artwork to be etched/printed as well as placement template. Please read all of the instructions below before submitting your artwork. Acceptable File types Creating your logo file: A vector EPS file of your artwork is the ideal format for us to work with, however also acceptable is a high-resolution TIF image file. A TIF used for etching must be created at a minimum resolution of 600 DPI and be scaled to the size you wish us to etch it. If your logo has been created at a lower resolution, do not scale it up. The file must be recreated at a higher quality. When submitting a vector EPS make sure that any type within your file is converted to outlines before submitting it to Lost Luggage. Please save all EPS files to Illustrator V9 or lower. Logo files to be screen printed can be produced in black, silver or white. Pantone color matching is available for $75 per color. Up to 3 separate colors may be applied to any one product. Placement PDF Placing your logo: Listed below are PDF template drawings of each Lost Luggage product that can be personalized. Download a template of the item(s) you have ordered. Open the template in Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop, then place your logo onto your PDF template at the scale and placement you would like it to appear on the item(s). If you are using Illustrator, save all PDF files to Illustrator V9 or lower before submitting them to Lost Luggage. If you are creating your placement document in Photoshop, you may save the flattened template as a JPG or TIF. Download PDF Template » Choose the Lost Luggage Product(s) you have ordered. Mac OSX Users: hold the option key and click the PDF you wish to download.
Submitting your files to Lost Luggage Once you have both your high quality logo file and placement document, it is time to send them to Lost Luggage. Email both files to artwork@lost-luggage.com and be sure to include within the body of the email any special information about your order. For example, if your screen printing includes any Pantone colors you will want to call them out here. If you are having difficulty emailing your files to us because the files are too large for your mail server to handle, visit yousendit.com. This site allows you to send any file up to 100MB in size. (Attention MacOSX users: For best results with You Send It use Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox.)
