Make a colorful statement: screen print your logo on our Lost Luggage Product.
Printing on standard products can be completed within 5 - 7 days of receiving your artwork submission.
Get accurate colors with Pantone color matching.
Printing is best suited for artwork that contains color. Or for personalizing a featured material that cannot be printed; such as the Wenge Wood or Silver Mesh.

Once you have placed your order for screen printing, follow these step-by step instructions to ensure your logo etching is done accurately and efficiently. (if you ordered etching, click here for instructions.)

STEP 1 DOWNLOAD A PDF PLACEMENT TEMPLATE :
Choose the Lost Luggage Product(s) you have ordered.

Mac OSX Users: hold the option key and click the PDF you wish to download.
Windows Users: Right-click the PDF you wish to download and choose "Save Target As", then specify where on your hard drive you would like the PDF to save.

STEP 2 PREPARE / CREATE A LOGO TO BE ETCHED :
Submit your logo at 100% of the size that you wish it to be printed.

There are 2 file formats that your logo can be submitted in, please read these specifications carefully to ensure you have prepared your file properly.

» .EPS FILES :

An eps is a vector based drawing that can be created in programs such as Illustrator, Freehand, CorelDraw or Inkscape.

Scale your .eps file to be the size that you wish for it to appear on your portfolio.
Use the Pantone colors that you wish to be printed in your .EPS file. (NOTE: colors for screen printing should be chosen from a coated Pantone chip. Do not choose the color from your monitor, please reference a Pantone book for an accurate color reading.)
If your artwork contains more than one color, separate each color onto its own layer.
  Convert all type to outlines.
llustrator users: please, save .EPS files of your logo as an Illustrator version 8 or lower.

» .TIF FILES :
(layered)

A .tif file is a bitmap based file that can be created in programs such as Photoshop, CorelPaint, Paintshop Pro, or Gimp.

To print a .tif file it must be created at a minimum resolution of 300 DPI. If you have artwork that is a lower resolution, scaling it up to 600 dpi is not acceptable. Please re-create the logo in a .tif document that is set to a 300 DPI resolution.
Scale your .tif file to be the size that you wish for it to appear on your portfolio.
Use the Pantone colors that you wish to be printed in your .tif file. and reference those pantone color number in your emailed submission. (NOTE: colors for screen printing should be chosen from a coated Pantone chip. Do not choose the color from your monitor, please reference a Pantone book for an accurate color reading.)
If your artwork contains more than one color, separate each color onto its own layer.
If your artwork contains type, please Rasterize all fonts before submitting

STEP 3 PREPARE YOUR PLACEMENT GUIDE :
Your printing will appear in the exact shape, size and place as in this file.

Set up your logo onto the supplied template drawing of your ordered product. Lost Luggage will use the Placement PDF you supply to us as a proofing document.

Download the drawing for the product you are having etched.
Place your logo onto the template and adjust the scale and placement to match how you would like the etching to appear on your portfolio.
Save your placement file as a either a .PDF, or JPG file.

STEP 4 SUBMIT ALL FILES TO LOST LUGGAGE :
